Scripture places contempt and reproach on those who reject God and His Word. God treats those who reject Him with scorn. Without the salvation of God, man lives under the condemnation of his sin. When we are saved, God removes the condemnation that our sin justifiably brings to our lives.

The word translated as “testimonies” is defined as a congregation or assembly. Its meaning carries the idea of being a witness or testifying to someone or something.
