God is awesome! I repeat, God is awesome!
The word translated, “awesome” in the ESV is also translated as “fearsome” in the LSB. It is a word used to speak of someone who inspires reverence or causes a fearful awe of who they are. God in all His power and majesty causes mountains to tremble and the nations to cower in fear.
God is awesome and beyond man’s might! All of man’s plans are ended when God speaks a word.
God is due glory. God is due praise. God fully deserves the awe and reverence his creatures are to give him. As His creatures, we worship Him because He is awesome!
He is the God of gods and the Lord of lords.
Not that there are other gods or lords. There is only one God and one Creator of heaven and earth and His name is Yahweh. Any other pretend gods are imaginary and profit a man nothing. The one true God saves His people from their sins.

- When was the last time you stopped to meditate on the awesome nature of God and all He has done in His creation and your life?
- When was the last time you praised God for His might and power?
- How should you live each day in light of who God is and how awesome He is?
Praying This God Centered Letter
God, you are awesome! God, you are the Lord of lords! God, you are the King of kings! God, you are the God of gods! I praise your wonderful and awesome name! You display your mighty power in your creation and my life! Please help me to glorify your name in all that I do!
